Cookie Policy
Effective date: May 5, 2026
1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. We also use comparable technologies such as browser localStorage (for example, to remember your cookie preferences). For simplicity this policy refers to all of them as "cookies".
Cookies can be set by us (first-party) or by third-party services we embed (third-party). They can be session cookies (deleted when you close your browser) or persistent cookies (stored for a defined period).
2. Cookies We Use
Required for the site to function. We cannot disable these because the site would stop working without them.
| Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
vm-cookie-consent-v1 | Stores your cookie preferences (Accept all / Reject / customised). | ~6 months (set in your browser's localStorage) |
Help us understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. We never load these scripts before you give consent.
| Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
Google Tag Manager (GTM) | Tag management container that loads other analytics tags after consent. | Per individual tag configuration (typically up to 2 years) |
Google Analytics (_ga, _ga_*) | Measures aggregated traffic patterns (page views, sessions, source). | Up to 14 months (Google default) |
Optional cookies that remember preferences such as language or theme. Currently the website does not set any functional cookies — this category exists to keep your choice consistent if we add some later.
3. Third-Party Cookies
When you interact with embedded third-party services, those services may set their own cookies under their own privacy policies. We do not control these cookies; the relevant policies govern them:
- ▸Stripe — sets cookies during checkout for fraud prevention and session management. Stripe Privacy Policy.
- ▸Telegram — when you click "Open in Telegram", you are taken to Telegram's own service. Telegram's cookie and privacy practices apply on telegram.org and t.me.
- ▸Google — when analytics consent is given, Google may set cookies on your device. See the Google Cookies overview.
4. Manage Your Preferences
You can change your cookie choice at any time. The button below re-opens our consent banner with your current settings, so you can switch categories on or off. Your choice is stored in your browser for ~6 months.
You can also clear cookies and localStorage directly in your browser settings — the next visit will show the banner again.
5. Updates to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when we add or remove cookies, or when underlying processors change their practices. The latest version is always available on this page. If changes are material, we will surface them in the consent banner.
